5-Day Online Training Workshop on Inventory Management with Excel

From 12th May to 16th May 2025, the UWDMA conducted a comprehensive 5-day online training workshop on Inventory Management using Excel, specifically tailored for the uPVC window and door industry. The program witnessed active participation from 41 professionals representing various organizations across the sector.
The objective of the workshop was to equip participants with practical knowledge and tools for effective inventory control, leveraging the capabilities of Microsoft Excel. The training featured a blend of conceptual learning and hands-on application, ensuring that participants could immediately implement the techniques in their respective roles.
Key Highlights of the Workshop:
• Interactive sessions with live demonstrations and hands-on practice using Excel.
• Daily assignments designed to reinforce learning and build confidence.
• Final day presentations by each participant, showcasing their understanding and practical application of inventory management concepts.
Throughout the workshop, participants explored essential inventory management topics such as stock categorization, reorder levels, lead times, safety stock calculations, and real-time tracking — all customized to the operational needs of the uPVC industry.
