With the growing demand for uPVC windows and doors, the industry is increasingly focusing on process accuracy and fabrication quality. Two 1-Day Advanced uPVC Fabrication Process Workshops were conducted in Kathmandu and Butwal, Nepal, bringing together experienced fabricators for focused, hands-on training sessions.

Organized by Panchkanya Dmex Windows & Doors, Kathmandu, Nepal, in association with UWDMA (uPVC Window & Door Manufacturers Association), the workshops aimed to standardize fabrication practices and reduce common errors that lead to performance issues.

The sessions covered key aspects such as cutting tolerances, reinforcement, drainage, welding, hardware, glazing, and sealing, with a strong focus on how small fabrication errors lead to water leakage, air infiltration, and operational issues.

The practical sessions were a key highlight, demonstrating correct methods alongside commonly followed mistakes.

By addressing real shop-floor challenges, the workshops encouraged more consistent and reliable fabrication practices, contributing to improved quality and long-term performance across the uPVC industry in Nepal.
