From 12th May to 16th May 2025, the UWDMA conducted a comprehensive 5-day online training workshop on Inventory Management using Excel, specifically tailored for the uPVC window and door industry. The program witnessed active participation from 41 professionals representing various organizations across the sector.

The objective of the workshop was to equip participants with practical knowledge and tools for effective inventory control, leveraging the capabilities of Microsoft Excel. The training featured a blend of conceptual learning and hands-on application, ensuring that participants could immediately implement the techniques in their respective roles.

Throughout the workshop, participants explored essential inventory management topics such as stock categorization, reorder levels, lead times, safety stock calculations, and real-time tracking — all customized to the operational needs of the uPVC industry.

The program received highly positive feedback, with participants appreciating the practical approach and industry relevance of the content. This initiative reflects UWDMA’s ongoing commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and promoting professional development within the uPVC window and door manufacturing community.
