This January, in association with Siegenia and with the support of Prominace and Windseal Hardware, UWDMA organised a workshop on slide and fold hardware fitment and installation in Hyderabad, Telangana.

Since 80% of the existing technicians in the industry still do not know the correct process of slide and fold hardware fixing and installing the entire system in the wall cavity, the step-by-step process of hardware fixing and installation was executed and shown live on a big screen during this workshop. Printed manuals were also shared with all attendees to give them a clearer understanding of the entire process.

Team Siegenia showcased the entire process for hardware fixing in a very detailed way, and Team Prominance showed the correct way to install a uPVC slide and fold door into the wall cavity.
