The UWDMA Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on 31st October 2024 at Radisson, Aerocity, New Delhi. The AGM began with a welcome speech by Dr. hc Mario Schmidt, President of UWDMA, and then Shobhita Mishra gave a summary of UWDMA’s previous initiatives. Mr. Ullas Guliani, the head of the UWDMA technical committee, gave a brief overview of the uPVC window and door profile
specifications after Mr. Amit Malhotra, the treasurer, summarised the finance review.

“How to implement the standards & testing in our industry” and “Optimising the production process & paying higher salaries to brilliant minds” were topics of open discussion. In addition to giving a presentation on UWDMA’s audit and certification program, Dr. H.C. Mario Schmidt led a session dubbed “Industry speaks” in which the majority of UWDMA members expressed their opinions. The meeting was concluded by Mr. Amit Malhotra with future outlook for UWDMA.
