UWDMA & TÜV Rheinland Successfully Conduct BIS Readiness Workshop for uPVC Window & Door Manufacturers
UWDMA, in association with TÜV Rheinland India, successfully organized the BIS Readiness Workshop for uPVC Window & Door Manufacturers on 20th May 2026 at TÜV Rheinland (India) Pvt. Ltd., Noida.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from plant heads and owners of uPVC window and door manufacturing units from across the industry. The session was conducted with the objective of creating awareness and preparedness for the upcoming BIS standards for uPVC windows and doors.
The workshop focused on practical aspects of manufacturing excellence and factory readiness, including raw material quality, manufacturing processes, quality control systems, performance requirements, documentation, inventory management, customer complaint handling, and operational efficiency.
Participants were also introduced to key areas expected to gain importance under the upcoming BIS framework, such as traceability, standardized production systems, safety requirements, and performance-oriented manufacturing practices.
